At
Mackenzie Trail, we host a maximum of 18 guests in an intimate
wilderness vacation setting, beginning with a gorgeous flight
over the Canadian wilderness to Tsacha Lake, BC, at 3400 ft. elevation.
There are no resorts on our 14-mile lake, no roads, tourist boats
or other floatplanes. On arrival, our staff will meet you at our
private airstrip or dock, and we'll transport your bags to your
private log cabin.
Everyone
will then gather in the Lodge where you'll be welcomed with champagne
and lunch and be given a brief intro to the many fishing choices
and other options that are available to you during your stay.
There will be plenty of time left for a relaxing complimentary
first afternoon of fishing with the assistance of our professional
guides.
In
the evening if you can tear yourself away from the water you'll
sit down to a fabulous dinner offering a selection of appetizers,
soup, entrees and desserts. Of course, a selection of fine BC
wines is included with dinner. In the evening, you can choose
from several activities including a big bonfire, hiking, horseshoes,
relaxing in the sauna or taking part in a fly casting or tying
clinic given by one of our instructors. Daily maid service will
remove the worry about having a clean, neat cabin each day.
Each
morning after a hot shower you'll have plenty of time for a hot
and wonderful breakfast because, with fifteen-plus hours of daylight,
there'll be plenty of time left in the day for fishing and hiking.
Different sections of the Blackwater River are accessible from
our lodges by boat, foot or floatplane. The fishing is spectacular,
creating the fishing experience of a lifetime that is bound to
bring you back to MacKenzie Trail Lodge time and time again. Many
of our guests will be returning in 2002 for their 2nd, 3rd and
even 10th season to enjoy the pristine wilderness and great fishing
at Tsacha Lake.

3 ½% non-refundable GST tax, licenses, gratuity. A non-refundable
deposit of 30% is required to confirm your reservation. Balance
due 60 days prior to departure. Cancellation will result in deposits
credited toward a future trip within 2 years, less $100 cancellation
